Lower Mustang lies in the altitude of 3,800 meter in the North-West part of Nepal. Annapurna and Niligiri mountain range is extended across the northern part. This beautiful land is differentiated into two parts ie. Upper mustang and lower mustang. Upper mustang is mostly popular for adventurous trekking and lower mustang is famous for natural scenery. Upper part has a trans Himalayan climate which is cool and semi-arid. It is in the rain shadow of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
It is being located at the northernmost part of the country is rich in natural vegetation. The tropical alpine and coniferous forest occupies a small portion of mustang Nepal. Apple fields and rhododendron forests add the beauty of the mustang. The biodiversity of the region swiped entire hillsides with pink and red rhododendron forests. Upper Mustang trek offers a chance to explore the thousand years of old monastery, caves, local tribes and scenic beauties of the different landscapes. Although the location lies in the shadow of Annapurna and Niligiri range the soil of this region is similar to the desert vegetation. Being at the high altitude the wind blows throughout the day. Rock soil and rocky highlands makes the location suitable for rock climbing.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara.
Day 3: Drive/Flight to Marpha/Jomsom.
Day 4: Drive to Muktinath via Kagbeni.
Day 5: Drive back to Marpha
Day 6: Explore Day (O/N Jomsom)
Day 7: Drive/flight to Pokhara.
Day 8: Drive/flight to Kathmandu.
Day 9: Final Departure

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu airport and Meet and assist and transfer to Hotel. Check in Hotel. In the evening trip orientation with welcome dinner at Nepali authentic restaurant.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara
After breakfast drive/flight to Pokhara. It takes 6 hours by drive and 25 minutes by flight. Check in hotel and preparation for trip. Overnight at Hotel.
Meal: Breakfast Time: 6 hours by drive/ 25min. by flight
Day 3: Pokhara to Marpha.
Soon after breakfast we will drive to Jomsom. It takes 7-8 hours, 160km. During this day we will make sightseeing including Tatopani, Rupse waterfalls, World’s deepest gorge kaligandaki gorge which is locally called Andha Galchha. We take lunch at Tatopani. Hotel Himalaya. The road passess through thrilling rocky hill. Upon crossing the Lete village the road goes with plain area i.e also called Himalayan High valley including Kalopani, Larjung, Kobang, Tukuch villages. In the late afternoon, we reach in Marpha. Check in Marpha Orchard Hotel & Restaurant. Dinner & Overnight.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Time: 15min. + 30 min. Access: Drive
Soon after breakfast we will transfer to airport for jomsom. Flight takes 15 minutes only. Upon arrive in Jomsom airport. Transfer to Marpha village. And Check in Hotel (Marpha Orchard Hotel & Restaurant. After lunch we will visit beautiful tiny Marpha village including monastery, Marpha apple farm. Dinner & Overnight.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Time: 15min. + 30 min. Access: Flight+Drive.
Day 4: Marpha to Muktinath.
After breakfast drive to Kagbeni. Visit to Kagbeni (once can see this past as a fortified village, as all the houses are build in a common rectangular which a common outer wall & just three little entrance doors). We will take a lunch at Hotel Dragon or as similar. And drive to Muktinath. It takes 30 minutes. Check in Hotel Grand Shambala. Dinner & Overnight.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Time: 1 ½ hours Access: Drive.
Day 5: Muktinath to Marpha.
Soon after breakfast visit surrounding Muktinath including Muktinath temple. Chhonger village, Jharkot village. After lunch drive back to Marpha. Dinner & Overnight.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Time: 4 hours Access: Drive + short hiking.
Day 6: Marpha to Jomsom via Themi/Syang village.
This day is our explore day with trekking. It takes maximum 4 hours. We catch a trekking trail through Syang, Dhuma lake and beautiful Thini village. Overnight in Jomsom. Hotel Majestic or Hotel trekkers Inn. Dinner & Overnight
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Time: 4-5 hours Access: Trekking
Day 7: Jomsom to Pokhara by drive or Flight.
After breakfast drive back to Pokhara or by flight. If we take a option by drive. We will spend 1 hours for bathing in Hot spring (Tatopani) and also take a lunch there. Overnight in Hotel, Hotel Barahi.
Meal: Breakfast & Lunch Time: 7 hours (15min. by flight) Access: Drive/flight.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast go for half day sightseeing including Davis’s falls, Gupteswor cave, boating to Phewa lake. And drive to Kathmandu
